Smart Home Automation and Integration Management
With everything to choose from in the smart home industry it can be difficult to decide where to start. We will guide you through the process of smart home automation.
We view smart home integration as a lifestyle not a purchase. Everyone’s journey in smart office automation is different. Some may start with just an Alexa and a few smart plugs while others will start by automating AI to smart security systems, cameras, thermostats, garage doors, pillows, beds, nightstands, multiple rooms, both home and office, and everything in between.
We recommend creating a plan to execute over time. Start with a small package – Alexa and a few other pieces of equipment. Make one room smart then move to another room. What’s tough is that we all want everything to be smart! With all of the new technology arriving daily we now have the ability to make our lives incredibly comfortable.
Imagine walking into your home or office and you say “Alexa, turn on main office lights. Play my Spotify account. What is the traffic on 355 right now? What is on my calendar for today?" The smart home and office is a booming new economy with options to make your energy use more economical and having access to technology through voice activation.
First decide on Google Home, Alexa or Siri. It’s shocking that there isn’t more information on the internet regarding which one of these is better. In reality, it’s because they are all very similar in the long run. Each product is getting updated daily which has sparked sort of an artificial intelligence race. Anyway – you need to research and decided what you prefer and what you use. If all of your products are apple products then definitely go with Siri-HomePod. Obviously the same applies for Amazon and Google. Right now, Amazon’s echo is leading the race at least with connectivity to diverse smart product manufacturers and customer friendly app use. Google has it’s advantages with all of our Google searches. Siri-HomePod has dedicated followers as well. All in all, the choice of your base comes down to preference, price and how well it will integrate into the smart products you plan to purchase in the future. Everything from the fridge to the nightstand.
